In alignment with the Ministry of Education’s (MoE) vision, the Institute Innovation

Council (IIC) was established in 2018 under the guidelines of the Innovation Cell (MIC) and AICTE. The council’s primary objective is to systematically foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students and faculty. Key members of the IIC include:  

1. Dr. Rajiv Ganguly  – President, IIC.
2. Dr. B.B. Sagar – Convener, IIC.
3. Dr. Shailendra Kumar Bhaskar  – Innovation Activity Coor.
4. Dr. Divya Somvanshi  – NIRF Coordinator, IIC.
5. Dr. Pranav Chaudhary – Nodal Officer, IIC.
6. Dr. Radha Sachan  – ARIIA Activity Coordinator, IIC.
7. Dr. Durgesh Kumar Soni – Startup Activity Coordinator, IIC

IIC members will significantly contribute to the growth and advancement for the incubation hub in following manner:

  1. Planning and Strategy:
    • Develop innovation and entrepreneurship strategies that align with our incubation hub’s goals.
    • Identify opportunities for new initiatives or partnerships.
  2. Idea Evaluation:
    • Evaluate ideas or projects submitted by students and startups for their feasibility, impact, and scalability.
    • Provide suggestions to improve these ideas.
  3. Organizing Activities:
    • Plan and execute events such as hackathons, innovation challenges, and startup pitch competitions.
    • Promote participation in regional, national, and global innovation contests.
  4. Building Networks:
    • Forge partnerships with industries, investors, government agencies, and other incubators.
    • Act as a link between the institution and external stakeholders.

Resource Mobilization:  o Secure funding, grants, or sponsorships for innovation projects and startups.  o Ensure the incubator has adequate resources like infrastructure, tools, and technology.
