MoU between HBTU-TBIF and OTHER ORGANISATION
Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) play a critical role in strengthening collaborations between the university incubator and external organizations, including industry partners, startups, and other academic institutions.
The Governing body of Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU) has initiated a program to establish and promote startups focused on new technologies, knowledge, and innovation. This initiative aims to develop a strong startup community by building networks among academia, financial institutions, industries, and similar organizations, to provide training and certification services, services to startups like mentoring, legal, financial services etc.
The Fourth HBTU-TBI Foundation Board meeting, as outlined in letter no. 10/IH-TBI/2024 dated 18th January 2024, was held under the esteemed chairmanship of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of HBTU, who also serves as the Promoter and Chairman of the Foundation. During the meeting, the proposal to sign a one-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with four companies was approved. The objective of these MoUs is to collaboratively launch training and certification programs aimed at enhancing industry-relevant skills and knowledge among students and the youth. This initiative is expected to contribute significantly to strengthening the startup ecosystem through the joint efforts of HBTU-TBI and the partnering companies.
